Napa Cellars Merlot Red Wine is a classic, approachable dry red wine. This California red wine comes from mid-southern Napa Valley, including Oak Knoll, along with a small portion from St. Helena and Carneros, where moderate to cool climates produce intricate, complex, balanced red wine Merlot. Once harvested, the grapes underwent a 10 to 16 day maceration period and were fermented using the delestage method. After the fermentation process was completed, the wine was aged for 15 months in 100% French oak barrels, 36% of which were new. This bottled wine has 14.2% alcohol by volume.
